A romeo and juliet type couple strive for freedom as they escape their surroundings by bursting through the walls of an apartment block. Once outside they run vertically up two enormous trees and launch themselves into the night sky.
A combination of CGI techniques helped realise this effects laden commercial. Detailed previsualisations were prepared before the shoot. The wall explosions were a complex combination of live action and CGI effects. The bulk of the debris were digitally created and animated by hand. The forest sequence is entirely digital (apart from the actors who were shot against bluescreen).
