Matt and Daffy had a brilliant time presenting and workshopping at SAND this year. It was great to meet the students and see the work of Sand, and other schools in the UK and beyond.

Daffy’s ‘Get A Grip’ at SAND
As well as the THOC workshop, daffy will be presenting his ‘Get A Grip’ talk, covering a wide range of CGI techniques. He’ll be showcasing some new work supervising at Framestore-CFC and animating at The Mill. It’ll also mark the first time he’ll present on his shiny new Macbook, so look amazed when he flashes that glowing apple in your direction. Details here:
Charac-ature Workshop
We’ll be running a workshop as part of SAND2007. Titled ‘Charac-ature Animation’. We’ll be covering the interesting middle ground that often crops up in commercials 3d; photoreal creatures that have a sense of personality. Character+Creature = Charac-ature. Further details here:
